Intersec Dubai, one of the world’s largest fire, security and safety conferences, returned this year from Sunday 16th January to Tuesday 18th January 2022. While attendance numbers were predictably lower compared to previous years due to Covid-19, there was an interesting mix of visitors who called to the stand from countries including Jordan, India, Iraq, Turkey, Senegal and Iran...

New office space: A large working space in Gambelas, in the University of Algarve, for team meetings will facilitate closer communications between teams as the various components of projects come together. 

Nohmi, a Japanese company in the field of Fire Safety Systems, announced in 2019 that they wanted SNIDO to collaborate with Wizmart to produce a new rack mount control panel for their Chinese customers. Some team members went to Japan to present SNIDO’s idea for their project 

Intersec Dubai: Present again in this year’s exhibition, SNIDO team members could witness there was a high level of interest in both our and WizMart products. Again, many different companies were present and visited our joint stand! 

Microchip Visit: Rogério and Jose-Vincente from Microchip came to visit and gave a very interesting presentation reviewing their products, several of which SNIDO is already working with, along with products which will be of use in  the future.  

We partnered with Wizmart to exhibit at Firex 2019 in London. This was an opportunity to catch up with potential and existing Wizmart customers from a variety of countries including the UK, Ireland, South Africa, India, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Eastern Europe amongst others. Although not as busy as the exhibition in Dubai, Firex remains an important meeting place! 

SNIDO attended Intersec, in Dubai. This is the largest fire and security exhibition in the Middle East and due to its central location, is attended by prospective customers from many countries. We met with representatives of approximately 90 companies from 20 different countries!
